Graham & Doubletop
It says that its private land. Do you definitely need to make contact with the owner?

Yes, out of respect & courtesy and not to mention safety. You wouldn't want someone to just appear on your property, would you?

As far as Graham the contact is Bill Scholl 845-586-4056. I mentioned I belonged to a hiking club. Though the hiking club didn't matter he said ok for anytime in the future. Regards. Ed

My additional advice would be to call and let owner when you are planning to hike the property. Regards. Ed

Re: Graham & Doubletop
Thanks for the feedback. I completely understand the safety & private property issues.
I was just simply looking for feedback from someone who has hiked it before.
I made contact and Bill's wife was very nice.
Basicly - you accept all risks, you agree to not leave anything behind (which I would never do, in fact I usually end up carrying out other people's trash), and be respectful of the land.
All those things are a given for me.
