    Notes about Huntersfield Creek Waterfalls

     TRAIL
The trail up to the waterfalls is pretty easy. The biggest issue is that the grassy fields are loaded with ticks. If you hike in the summer months you want to wear long pants treated with parmethrin. Good hike in the early spring or late fall.

It can get close to the waterfalls, but you cannot actually touch the water. The waterfalls are on private property. And, obviously you cannot swim in the water. You can only view them from a safe distance.

These four waterfalls are very close to homes, so please do not make a lot of noise.

     PARKING
There is NO official parking lot for this hike. You can park in Prattsville in a couple of location. Or, you can park at Pratt Rock and take the trail from Pratt Rock to the waterfalls.

     OTHER INFORMATION
The fields are loaded with ticks!!! Where you see high grass, you will find ticks. Make sure you check yourself completely after you are done hiking.
