Summary:
Disclosure: We purchased this watch with our own money. We do not accept any gifts or money for a favorable review. We tested this watch for two years.
There are many digital watches to pick from. As of 2026, many consider this digital watch to be one of the best smart watches on the market. It packs a lot of features that are not present in digital watches that cost significantly more. Before the tariffs, this watch sold for $13-15. With the tariffs inplimented in 2025 the new price is around $35. This watch also comes with a cell phone app that collects and stores the data on your cell phone. Data can be retrieved back in time. The mfg of this watch does not remove your data and sell it to companies. You do NOT have to register the watch with the mfg or third-party to use the watch. The battery on the watch generally last about a week.
Things we DIDN'T like:
Watch Band - We found that the watch band comes out of the bands that holds the end of the strap. We found that issue annoying. It is the band that keeps this watch from getting a 5-star rating.
Accuracy - We found the measurements of health data pretty accurate. But, the accuracy depends upon how loose or tight the watch was to your skin. If it was too tight it would not take a measurement. If the watch was too loose it would make the blood pressure go up about 5-10 point too high. But, this minor problem was also present on other watches.
Charger - The super magnets worked well. But, after two years one of the super magnets fell out of the cable. We then left the battery dead in the watch for an extended period. When we got a new cable, the battery would not charge. So, we see the life of this watch to be about 2-3 years. The watch does come with a 3-year warranty. We could not figure out how to process the warranty.
Things we DID like:
Health Features - We loved all the health features. The watch collects all the measurements and stores them in 1/2 hour increments. If you go into the watch app on your cell phone, you can easily download the data from your watch and store it on your cell phone. The watch also allows you to easily do an instant on-demand measurement of your heart beat, blood pressure, Oxygen level, Body/skin temperature, or Blood gluclose.
Steps & Mileage - The watch collects the number of steps and is surprising fairly accurate. The mileage will never be as accurate as a L5 GPS, but still pretty good.
This watch does not collect GPS points and elevation levels. There are some Apple watches that do collect GPS tracks and elevation. We find that the Apple watches GPS and elevation measurements were not that accurate. As a hiker, we prefer to use a L5 GPS, like the Garmin 67s. The L5 GPS are incredibly accurate. Most of the watches, cell phones, and Garmin GPS's are L1 gps devices which are not very accurate. Some of the new iPhones in 2025 were equiped with a L5 GPS. Coupling a L5 GPS with Avenza will make an accurate device. Additionally, the battery life of iPhones are limited. And, that is another concern of cell phones.
Other Features - We liked the timer, alarm, and stop watch. We found them to work very well and useful. We did not use the timer to measure the amount of time hiking. I presume that it would use up the battery at a much higher rate. The calculator was useful when we need one in the middle of the woods. The link between your cell phone and watch was sometimes convienent. If you received a message or phone call on your cell phone, it will send the notification to your watch. When hiking many hikers store their cell phone away in their pack. So, this was nice.
This watch can be purchased on ebay. Sometimes they are available on Amazon.
