Bearpen Mountain State Forest

Bearpen Mountain & North Bearpen Mountain (Ski Run Road) - Approximately 8.25 mile round trip - 5 hours. Easy. Nice views along the entire trip in the Winter. In the Winter with the right conditions, this hike can be magical. .

Bearpen Mountain (Heisinger Road) - Approximately 5.30 mile round trip - 4.5 hours. Easy. Nice views along the entire trip in the Winter. In the Winter with the right conditions, this hike can be magical. .

Bearpen and Vly Mountain (Rt 3 South) - Approximately 6.51 mile round trip - 4.0 hours. Moderate. Limited views on Vly Mountain. Great views from Bearpen Mountain.

South Vly Mountain from Condon Hollow Road - ~5 mile trip - 3-4 hours (winter). This is a DEC trail and Bushwhack hike. Easy-to-Moderate. Nice easy walk. Limited views. You can cross-country ski the road, but not the bushwhack to the summit. There is a lean-to on the other side of the pass.

Roundtop Mountain - Approximately 3.76 mile round trip - 3.0 hours. Easy. Nice easy walk. Limited views just past the summit. Optional bushwhacks can be done.
