Big Pond - Has 12 major campsite locations around the lake. These are primitive campsites that are free to the public. They care first-come-first-serve. Hiking, camping, boating, fishing are commonly activities at Big Pond. There is also Little Pond, which is a fee-based campsite with amenities. the Forget-Me-Not Trail runs along the south side of the lake.

Campbell Mountain Trail - 7.19 miles one-way (with spur trail) - 4-5 hours. Easy. Beautiful forest hike on old logging roads. Campbell Mountain Lean-to on western side of trail. Quarry in middle of trail.

Finger Lakes Trail - 1.70 miles one-way (TH-to-TH) - 1-2 hours. Moderate. Links Downsville, NY to Hog Hollow Trail

Hog Hollow Trail - 9.48 miles round-trip - 6-8 hours. Easy. Beautiful Ridge Hike on old road. On the eastern end of Hog Hollow Trail is a bog. On the western end of the trail are two old homesteads and a Large Field. Hiking and camping are commonly done on this hike.

Huggins Lake Trail - 3.98 miles round-trip - 2-3 hours. Easy. Beautiful hike up the old road. At the end is a beautifully positioned around the ridge and mountains. Hiking, camping, fishing are commonly done on this hike.

Little Pond Loop - 4.92 miles - 3-4 hours. Moderate. Nice hike with two view points along the way with a beautiful forest to experience. Hiking, camping, fishing are commonly done on this hike.

Little Spring Brook Trail - 0.75 miles one-trip - 1/2 hour. Moderate. Most commonly used to access the Campbell Mountain Trail and the Pelnor Hollow Trail. Some also use it to access the Split-Rock Lookout. It is also designated as a DEC Nature Trail. Trail is rocky, slippery, and difficult around the Beaver Pond.

Mary Smith Trail - 4.51 miles one-trip - 3-4 hours. Easy. Beautiful hike through the Delaware Wild Forest. One view point near the summit of Mary Smith Mountain. Hiking and camping are commonly done on this hike. also a small side trip to Split-Rock Lookout is possible.

Middle Mountain Trail - 2.72 miles (one-way) - 1-2 hours. Easy. Beautiful hike through the Delaware Wild Forest. One view point near the summit of Middle Mountain. Hiking and camping are commonly done on this hike.

Morton Hill Swamp - 0.10 miles (one-way) - 30 minutes. Easy. Beautiful swamp off Morton Hill Road. Rich population of birds and beavers.

Mud Pond - Has 8 primitive campsites around, or near, Mud Pond. You need to hike 1-2 miles to camp here. These are primitive campsites that are free to the public. They care first-come-first-serve. Hiking, camping, boating, fishing are commonly activities at Mud Pond. The Mud Pond Trail runs around the pond.

Mud Pond Trail (Long Loop) - 7.27 miles loop - 4-5 hours. Moderate. Beautiful hike through the Delaware Wild Forest. Great views of Russell Brook Falls, Trout Pond, and Mud Pond. Hiking, fishing and camping are commonly done on this hike.

Pelnor Hollow Trail - 4.39 miles one-trip - 2-3 hours. Moderate. Forest is very wild and rarely travelled. Ideal for those who want to camp at the lean-to without others. One view point 0.14 miles west of the Mary Smith Trail. Hiking and camping are commonly done on this hike.

Campsites & Waterfalls off Russell & Morton Roads - Has 7 primitive campsite and a waterfall off Russell Brook Road & Morton Hill Road. These are primitive campsites that are free to the public. They care first-come-first-serve. Some campsites are directly off the roads and others require a small hike.

Touch-Me-Not Trail - 7.23 miles one-trip - 5 hours. Moderate. Beautiful woods hike. Get to visit Big Pond in the middle of the hike. Hiking, camping, fishing are available for this hike.

Trout Pond (camping) - Has 6 primitive campsite on Trout Pond or in the general region. These are primitive campsites that are free to the public. They care first-come-first-serve. Hiking, camping, boating, fishing are commonly activities at Trout Pond. You will need to hike about a mile to reach Trout Pond.

Trout Pond Loop - 5.87 miles one-trip - 4-5 hours. Easy. Beautiful hike with views of Trout Pond, Mud Pond, and Russell Brook Falls. Hiking, camping, fishing, are available for this hike.
